![]() It gave me straighter, more precise cuts. To cut out the CD sleeve template, I used my magnetic mat and pen knife. TIP: I like to use repositional adhesive to adhere the template to the card stock. This way you can still cut outside the lines and your shapes will be exact. I put together a brief tutorial and a template for the CD sleeve I made last week.Īn important note: the actual CD sleeve template is exactly 11″ inches in length and since print margins are usually less than that on 8.5 x 11″ paper, I recommend either using legal paper to print out that particular page OR changing your print settings from “shrink to fit” to “none” and print it on 8.5 x 11″ if you don’t mind the printing cutting off before the edge.
